Peek at the Week | November 10-16

Manila for kids

We found 19 kids activities to do in Manila this week!

The Science Film Festival has kicked off! Watch some educational, yet fun films with the kids and learn all about new materials. Celebrate Science Museum Day and get to explore the museum after hours! If you are more into business, then your children can learn the tricks of the trade by joining the kiddo-preneur Christmas bazaar. For some culture we go watch Romeo & Juliet, listen to the Vienna Boys choir or see Annie with a ManilaForKids discount! Go to the European Higher Education Fair if you want to explore your options about studying abroad! The little ones can join a book story making with their parents and cap off the weekend with a hike through Arroceros Park.

SPORTS | Arroceros Park Run/Walk

The hares have arranged access to Arroceros Park, so that's where we'll be running/walking. Those of you who remember the last one will recall an oasis of tranquillity by the river, spoilt only slightly by a run through Paco, Intramuros and Rizal Park. This time, maybe a grind through the traffic fumes of Binondo. Who knows? Walkers will have plenty of opportunity to shop, take photographs, eat McDonalds and generally slack off. Kid friendly venue, so come along even if you don't have the slightest intention of running. NOTE: We'll be starting the run early at 2pm, as we get kicked out of the park by 5.30, however its easy to get to, so you won't lose any beauty sleep.
